Titchfield Tots Baby Massage is run by Vanessa Robertson, a Qualified Infant Massage Instructor and a member of The Guild of Infant and Child Massage (number 1695)
I am a dedicated mother of 3 young children and found the therapeutic benefits of baby massage when our 1st baby suffered with severe Colic and Reflux. After giving birth to our 2nd baby, and again using baby massage as a wonderful tool to bond and relax, I felt that I needed to change my life and bring this wonderful experience to new mothers, I therefore trained to be a dedicated Infant Massage Instructor. I run the classes from our family home just outside the quiet, historic village of Titchfield in Hampshire.
The Imperial College London Faculty of Medicine, in research, found that infant massage can reinforce the feeling of closeness between mother and infant. This is especially useful in cases of postnatal depression and this close bond can also increase breast milk production.
Can everyone benefit from infant massage?
Infant massage is an ideal method to get to know your baby and research suggests that both parent and baby have so much to benefit from this technique.
